SNR rewarded as supplier of 2007

(From l to r) John Pugh (SNR),
Sean Thorogood (IADA) and Claire Cocker (IADA)

SNR first started collaborating with IADA in the middle of 2005 and since that time the relationship has continued to broaden due to the key points of improved logistics, continued product availability and the ease of using the on-line ordering system.

Deliveries from the Lyons-based European Distribution Centre (EDC) consistently arrive on time at the members locations. SNR is perceived as a leader in terms of the quality of its logistics service. Sean Thorogood, IADA Chairman, confirms this perception. « Availability and faultless logistics are the qualities we are looking for in our suppliers. This is why IADA's members selected SNR from more than 20 competitors to become the Supplier of the Year for 2007».

«This is a great starting point for a number of projects that we are currently working on as part of the ongoing collaboration between SNR and IADA », adds John Pugh, SNR UK Sales Manager.

« IADA, the Independent Authorised Distributor Alliance, was established in 1998 and currently has 62 strategic branches right across the UK, from Belfast to Kent and from Plymouth to Inverness. These locations supply the industrial market with a full range of bearings, energy transmission products and hydraulic systems. The close local relationships and unrivalled customer service have made IADA a strong up-and-coming force in the British market. Their slogan is "National power, local strength". »
